Slide Rock MatCha - Sedona Arizona's Full-Leaf Tea Store
100% MatCha from Nishio city, Aichi prefecture, Japan. Culinary/cooking grade is less expensive and has a stronger flavor than drinking grade, so it can be tasted even when mixed with other ingredients in beverages like Matcha Lattes, food, and desserts. If pure MatCha, it has all the same health benefits as higher, tastier, more expensive grades of MatCha. This culinary grade could be optionally prepared plain in the Usucha Japanese style.

Package size is 3 ounces or 42-43 two-gram (full teaspoon) servings. For a one-gram (half-teaspoon) traditional bowl, there are 85 servings. Bulk one pound is available for 453.6 one-gram servings.
PREPARATION: For a MatCha Latte we typically use a full teaspoon or two grams mixed well in 12 oz warm milk. To try in the plain traditional Japanese style call Usucha (thinner viscosity like tea), use a half-teaspoon or one gram in 175°F (80°C) 5-6 oz fresh water. We first sift the matcha to remove any lumps, then whisk well using a bamboo “Chasen”.

Slide Rock - Sedona’s Disneyland:
One of the greatest treasures of Sedona... about a half mile of natural series of red rock water slides and lagoons with incredible surroundings, the perfect water park before water parks were invented. Go in the winter when the water is freezing but there are no crowds. Go in the spring and summer when the water is still cool but the crowds are ridiculous.
