We have about 50 adorable Christmas elves left decorating the store, and yes, they are for sale. These Trailhead Tea Elves are completely handmade by Eileen’s sister Carol, with help from family and friends using custom elements (notice a couple of different shirts with our logo, and in right elf hand there's a teacup with our logo), and they're made with some tea on the inside. Legend has it that elves, particularly Christmas elves, are traditionally great fans of tea. That's how they stay so cheerful. They sit on the shelf with all their elf-friends and take notes of all the good boys and girls and moms and dads who are drinking their tea and they report back to Santa. Then they hide somewhere else to observe. If they see that you aren't drinking tea, if you're not being good, they won't report good news to Santa. Instead, they stay put, until they see you're being good.
